Once an Italian coffee shop and ice cream factory and more recently a much-loved local caff  Jim’s is the oldest cafe on Chatsworth Road. After first opening it’s doors in the 60’s, the cafe has reopened with support from Nuno Mendes, the head chef at Chiltern Fire House, to serve up bangin’ breakfasts, lunch and dinner. Staying true to it’s heritage, the owners have re-stored the 196os decor and expanded into the old ice cream factory at the back. Taking every detail into consideration, Jim’s bake their own sourdough, muffins & pastries, serve up a range of homemade juices and even cure their own bacon.

Using almost entirely organic and locally sourced produce, Jim’s are already making a name for themselves and with eggs mimosa with prawns & avocado and lots of thick cut house bacon on the menu, it comes as no surprise and we can’t wait to get down there and try it for ourselves.
